Acceptable Use Policy
This policy defines the boundaries for using Sottos responsibly and lawfully.
Lawful use
You are responsible for using Sottos lawfully and in line with any rules, confidentiality obligations, platform terms, employer policies, or interviewer instructions that apply to your situation.
Use in third-party assessments
Sottos is built and marketed as a preparation and real-time answer-support workspace. Where you choose to use Sottos in connection with a third-party interview, assessment, take-home review, or meeting, you are solely responsible for confirming that AI assistance is permitted under the rules of that organization, the platform's terms of service, and any instructions you have received. Sottos does not establish your right to use AI assistance in any specific interview, assessment, or platform.
Permission-first live use
Live coaching is appropriate for interviews, practice sessions, and meetings where AI assistance is permitted. If permission is unclear, use Sottos for preparation, mock rounds, and post-round review instead of live assistance.
Job applications through Sottos Apply
Sottos Apply drafts a tailored CV and cover letter and can submit applications on your behalf. Submission happens only under your authorization: per-application approval in hybrid mode, or your standing Auto-mode instruction to submit applications that meet the criteria you configure. In both modes you are responsible for the accuracy and honesty of what is sent, and you can pause or disable submission at any time. You may not use Sottos Apply to misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or work authorization, to submit applications outside the scope of your authorization, or in a way that violates a job board's or employer's terms. Sottos Apply re-frames and re-emphasizes what is already on your CV; it does not fabricate experience.
Prohibited use
You may not use Sottos for fraud, impersonation, document falsification, credential misuse, harassment, illegal activity, circumventing security controls, violating any third party's terms of service, or violating the rights of another person or organization.
Service abuse
You may not resell access, share accounts beyond plan limits, circumvent account or subscription controls, scrape the service, interfere with infrastructure, or attempt to reverse engineer protected service components.
Enforcement
We may suspend or revoke access for prohibited use, fraud risk, payment failure, security risk, undisclosed use that violates a third party's terms or policies, or attempts to circumvent account, billing, subscription, or session controls.
