Desktop Session Data
This page explains how Sottos Desktop session data is processed when the desktop app is used for preparation, live assistance, or review.
What session data means
Desktop session data includes account identity, subscription entitlement checks, device/session identifiers, product settings, transcript or screen context the user intentionally sends for AI assistance, and operational events needed to run the desktop app.
Why we process it
We use session data to authenticate the desktop client, sync plan access, generate response suggestions, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, and support customer requests.
AI processing
When a user asks Sottos for assistance, relevant context may be sent to model providers or hosted inference infrastructure to generate suggestions. Users should avoid sending confidential, regulated, or third-party-restricted information unless they are allowed to do so.
Retention and deletion
Operational records may be retained for billing, security, abuse prevention, debugging, and legal compliance. Contact support to request account or session-data assistance; some records may need to be retained where required for legitimate business or legal reasons.
